This 1917 Schoolhouse was moved to the property from the Camp 1 Logging Camp Headquarters. It is said to have been one of the first schoolhouses in the area, hosting a one room school with a small area in the back where the teacher lived.
While we honor it's historical background, it is used as the base camp for any caterers or friends and family wishing to serve food on site or make their own flower arrangements. This is a preparation kitchen and does not host the requirements for a commercial kitchen. It houses the commercial sized fridge, which will easily fit a wedding cake, flowers and/or several large dishes of food, as well as an additional regular fridge/freezer. It is furnished with countertops and cupboards along the west side of the building for storage and food prep! It also has a large island with open shelving. This area is also used for storing some decorations and supplies.
The old "school house" is surrounded by colorful wild flowers that are beautiful for any photo opportunity! It is a cream color with small windows and decorative lights hanging from its frame, giving it an old charm feel.
